Medical research
NPC is a research-active primary care organisation. From time to time we may contact you regarding research opportunities that you may be interested in. If you do not wish to take part in research or be contacted about these opportunities, please contact your practice and we can code you as not wanting to be contacted.
GP earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working at NPC Amble and Broomhill in the last financial year (2022/23) was £84,762.00 before tax and national insurance.
This is for 4 full-time GPs, 3 part-time GPs and one locum GP who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
Veteran Friendly
We are a Veteran Friendly practice. This means that, as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated Clinician who has specialist knowledge of military-related health conditions and veteran-specific health services. This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment.
If you are ex-forces, please let your GP know to help ensure you are getting the best possible care.
